In Aug 2001 I have joined Al Jaber Engineering in a position of Projects Manager /Head of Construction Department. Charted an impressive career graph;
Report to: - The Managing Director.
Responsibilities:

To manage multiple large and small projects.

Direct, oversee, monitor and evaluate the activities of all project managers, purview their performance, and training.

Review projects constructability, scopes of work, sub-contracting, procurement and scheduling.

Coordinate all processes and functions with project managers, planners, and quantity surveyors.

Perform contract administration, to illustrate Prepare progress reports, formulate and negotiate claims, counter claims and contractual correspondences based on FIDIC.

Manage due diligence requirements and liaising with governmental institutions to acquire necessary permits.

Dubai Towers - Doha Project

Report to: - Al Jaber Managing Director and Al Habtoor Project Director
The Dubai Towers – Doha Project, is a Joint Venture Project; which is awarded to, Al Jaber Engineering Co. and Al Habtoor Engineering . The Project encompasses the construction of 5 basements, GF, GMF and 90 storey building worth over $600 Million.
The project plot area is 12500 m2 where as the tower floor area is approximately 2000m2 with a complicated core walls structure and steel framed structure. Total built area of the project is 300,000m2 and 440m high.
Achievements:

attended all co ordinations, preparations, and managed to Cast of tower raft of 15000 m3 of concrete continuous non stop in less than 90 hour

Achieve construction tower core walls cycle of 250Lm in 7 days per floor.
March 06 - June 07:
Dubai Towers – Doha Project
Enabling works package project
Client: - Sama Dubai
Position: - Project Manager
The project consists of carrying out all pilling works and excavation to the formation levels of Dubai towers – Doha. Contract value is, just under, US $ 40 million.
The work consists of drill and cast 200 piles of 1.5m diameter with average depth of 50m; in addition to 400 piles of 0.75m diameter with depth of 8.0 each. At the same time dewatering system was established during excavation works.
Achievements:

Completing the project 60 days ahead of completion date.

The project consist of 1500m of open trench concrete pipes of 3.0m OD and 1000m,in addition to 1200m of trench less micro-tunnelling concrete pipes 1.2m and 2.4m OD, olso 350 m of 3.0m OD of Polycrete pipes. Work value just under US $13 million

The project frame is to design, supply of material and construct the following:
Construction of 13000m of 600mm Dia. HDPE pipes including all associated chambers and Civil Works.
Trench less micro-tunnelling works. Work value US $ 9 million

EPIC of 2600 m2 new pre-engineered steel structure store building with all services and associated electrical and mechanical works including cold store building at QAFCO site to accommodate spare parts of QAFCO-4 Expansion Project. Work value US $ 2 million

Construction of 3240m2 One Story steel framed Office Building, with all associated roads and paving and related architectural, structural, civil, and MEP works.

Project : - Procurement & Construction of Al Waha Club At Al Khore
One storey building has floor area of 7300 m2. Internally the building offers restaurants, VIP lounge, meeting rooms, also a multi-purpose hall that functions as a theatre, with very high quality finishes. This is complimented externally by the swimming pool; In addition to a mini golf course. Work value just under US $ 10 million

Le Royal Tower project: 5 basement, GF, GMF and 30 storey tower with built area of 125000m2 for a total value of US $70 Million completing the structure works and stone cladding, including finishing package finishing package.
Responsibilities:

Direct and control the project in entirety, budgeting, and contractual negotiations, appoint and liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors, while ensure strict adherence to quality, specifications and budget.

May 1998 - August 2000:

Project Handled:
Up grading of Tabouk Airport Project; is a design and built, which is include improving the existing runway and taxiways, construction of new apron, taxi ways and roads network, in addition to up grading the aeronautical ground lighting systems. Furthermore installation of Instrument landing system, runway visual range, and air craft arresting systems for a cost of US $35 Million.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyse the project cost estimates, expenditures, and forecasts.
- Review the project design stages and utilization of material, method statement of construction activities, in order to meet cost objectives and quality specifications.
